On January 9th, 2017, the Annual National Science and Technology Awards Conference was held in the Great Hall of the people, the Party and state leaders attended the meeting and present the prize to the represents of the year. The research project“the progression of chronic renal disease mechanism and the prevention treatment”won second class National Science and technology progress prize. The project is led by academician Hou Fanfan, professor Liu Huafeng’s research team of our school as the main coordination unit of the project have a shot at thereward. This is one of the few state science and Technology Award winners in Guangdong province 2016 ,also ahistoric breakthrough of our school in the national science and technology awards.
