On October 31st, the president of University of Rzeszów Sylwester Czopek in Poland,together with the vice-president Marek Koziorowski, Bogdan Wierzbinski, vice dean of Bussiness school visited Guangdong Medical University.

Mr. Lu Jinghui, the president of Guangdong Medical University met all the visitors. Mr. Zhou Guangji, the dean of Basic Medical School, Mr. Zhang Huailing, the dean of Information Engineering School, Mr. Xie kuilong, the deputy director of the president's office, Mr. Guo Shaobo, the deputy director of international exchanges andcooperation office and other related staffs attended the meeting.

On behalf of Guangdong Medical University, President Lu jinghui expressed his warm welcome for the delegation of the University of Rzeszow. He pointed out that “one Belt, one Road” strategy has brought new opportunities for sino-poland education cooperation, and hoped that the two universities will further expand cooperation areas, enhance the level of cooperation and achieve mutual benefit for both sides by relying on their own educational resources, advantage complementary, thus to carry out a feasibility project and lay a good foundation for further cooperation.

Czopek Sylwester emphasized that the University of Rzeszow has established cooperation relations with many other universities in China. The University of Rzeszow has faculties in undergraduate and graduate, clinical medicine, public health, nutrition, nursing, physical therapy and other professional biotechnology, which will match with the faculty setting of Guangdong Medical University perfectly. He hoped that this visit will be a breakthrough point for the cooperation between the two universities.

Mr. Yang Yunbin, the vice secretary of Guangdong Medical University, held a depth discussion with the delegation. He pointed out that Chairman Xi Jinping repeatedly emphasized that Chinese people are willing to work with the other people around the world together, promote the “One Belt, One Road” strategy in international cooperation actively, and create new platforms for international cooperation and development in the 19th Congress Report. Through this discussion, Mr. Yang Yunbin hoped that Guangdong Medical University can engage effectively in resource sharing and carry out extensive cooperation and exchanges in educational ideas.The two universities agreed to sign a cooperation agreement in the near future.

The delegation visited Mr. Li Zhe’s studio after the discussion and meeting, and was impressed by the AR virtual augmented reality teaching equipment and teaching methods.
