Headed by Professor Pertti Malkki, Director of Health and Social StudiesSchool, the delegation of JAMK University of Applied Science from Finland, which included Kare Norvapalo, Marjo Palovaara and He Xiang, made a successful visit to Dongguan campus of GDMU on March 7th.
Ding Yuanlin, Vice presidentof GDMU,met the delegates from afar.In the welcome speech, He hopes that both institutions should take this visit as a good opportunity to enhance mutual trust, improve the level of cooperation from all possible aspects and achieve mutual benefits and double wins.
During the meeting, the attendees held heated discussions on many cooperative programs, which included the fields of nursing, information technology etc, such as student short-term programme, teacher training programme, dual degree possibility, elderly care industry etc.
Afterwards, the guests visited Li Zhe’s studio, clinical skills training center, nursing school and laboratory of information engineering school.
At the end of the visit, Yang Yunbin, the Deputy Secretary of GDMU also met the guests and had a lively discussion on the feasibility of the relevant exchanges and cooperation programs between GDMU and JAMK.
