The University celebrated the 37th Teacher’s Day by the commendation conference held online and off line on September 10th.
In the keynote speech,Lu Jinghui,both the Secretary of GDMU CPC Committee and the president,extended greetings to all teachers and sincere welcome to new teachers, warmly congratulated the unitsand individuals who would becommended, and expressed high respect to the retired teachers andfaculty members with 30 years of service.He also expressed his heartfelt gratitude to those who worked hard for the reform and development of the university.
The meeting was presided over by Liu Xinguang, Vice President of the university.
On behalf of all students,Wang Jiaqi from the School of Humanities and Management extended greetings to all teachers.
Dr. Lai Tianwen, the winner of the Guangdong Outstanding Youth Fund for Natural Sciences, delivered a speech on behalf of the faculty and staff.

All University leaders, faculty and staff, heads of the affiliated hospitals and representatives of retired teachers in the 2020-2021 academic year participated in the online or offline conference.
In addition, Leaders of the University, including Lu Jinghui, Xiang Xianbing, Luo Hui, Ding Yuanlin, Liu Xinguang, Kuang Weihong, Zeng Zhirong and Tan Ping paid a visit to teachers and researchers in different schools and shared the happiness with them.
