On December 20th, the closing ceremony of The First China Postdoctoral Innovation & Entrepreneurship Competition was held in Foshan, Guangdong Province.

Yu Fengbo and Deng Li, post doctors of GDMU, participated in The Unveiling List Competition and The Innovation Competition respectively on behalf of Guangdong Province.

Yu Fengbo entered the final competition and won the silver medal with her project of “The Key Technology of Microsphere Preparation”, a kind of novel “hard core and soft film” structure sustained-release drug delivery system which is easy to prepared and sterilized.

Deng Li along with Dr. Liu Xin and Dr. Wu Yaobin entered the final of the innovation competition with their project of “Development and Upgrade of ECMO Centrifugal Pump Head”.

Opened on December 18th, with the theme of "Gathering Talent, Leading Innovation", The First China Postdoctoral Innovation & Entrepreneurship Competition was divided into four groups including Innovation, Entrepreneurship, Overseas and Unveiling-list.

It is reported that the national innovation and entrepreneurship competition has been the largest, highest-level, and broadest competition since the postdoctoral system was established in China.
