On December 13, 2021 Dongguan alumni representatives forum was held successfully. President Lu Jinghui and leaders of relevant departments and schools attended the forum, which was presided over by Vice President Zeng Zhirong.

Before the forum, Vice President Zeng Zhirong organized a campus tour for the alumni representatives,which let them learn more about the new changes of the whole campus environment,teaching and research facilities etc. in recent years.In his introduction at the forum, Zeng Zhirong focused on the latest development achieved by the University on talent training, discipline construction, social services, and hospitals construction etc.

Li Huanxiang, chairman of GDMU Alumni Association in Dongguan delivered a speech and Zhong Baimao, head of the Eighth People’s Hospital of Dongguan introduced the work done by the Dongguan Alumni Association. Afterwards many alumni shared valuable views on strengthening further co-construction and cooperation with the Alma Mater.

In his keynote speech, president Lu Jinghui extended cordial greetings to the alumni and expressed sincere gratitude to them for their precious support for the construction and development of GDMU over the years. He stressed that development achieved during the “13th Five-Year Plan”period are inseparable from the 250,000 alumni’s ubiquitous concern and precious support.

At last, the alumni extended their gratitude and best wishes for Alma Mater.
