"2021 Guangdong Postgraduate Forum -- Panel on Noncoding RNA and Human Diseases" was held online by Guangdong Medical University on October 16.

    Sponsored by the Graduate School of Guangdong Medical University, hosted by the School of Basic Medicine and the Department of science and technology, and coordinated by Department of Histology and Embryology, School of Basic Medicine, the panel provided a high-level online platform for interdisciplinary exchanges between graduate students in the country.

    In his speech at the opening ceremony, Professor Huang Wenhua, forum chairman and assistant president of Guangdong Medical University, expressed his heartfelt thanks to the participating experts, teachers and students, adding that graduate study period is an ideal period to enhance comprehensive research capabilities and general quality, calling for graduate students to develop their holistic abilities in order to benefit fully from a rounded education.

    The academic committee of the forum settled on 2 first prizes, 4 second prizes and 6 third prizes, which were announced by Professor Huang Zunnan.

According to the livestreaming data, 1,533 people had registered to watch the forum and 1,219 people participated in the live broadcast. Teachers and students from 29 provinces, cities and autonomous regions participated in the forum online, whose richness and diversity have been commended by teachers and students alike.
