Vice President Zeng Zhirong was invited to serve as the vice chairman of the 5th Asian Clinical Engineering Forum forum and attend relevant activities on November 6th.
The Forum was held both online and offline by Jikei Group in Osaka, Japan.The theme of the forum is “The Contribution of the Development of Information Science to Medical Security”.Experts and scholars in the field of clinical engineering technology from China, Japan, Thailand, Myanmar, Bengal and other Asian countries “cloud” gathered together.From the perspective of information science and medical intersection,they shared valuable academic views, practical experience, and a vision of cooperation in the field of information science and medical security.

At the closing ceremony, Vice President Zeng Zhirong delivered a speech entitled “Facing Human Health, deepen exchanges and cooperation to jointly create a new development of clinical engineering in Asia”.He briefly introduced the basic situation and development achievements of our university to the participants, expounds the importance of information science in the field of biomedical engineering. He called on the participating experts to continue to actively promote the application of information science in medical security from the different aspects of scientific research, technology research and development, institutional innovation and talent training, and to carry out more in-depth exchanges and cooperation.

In addition, the research result of Zhu Yulin from the School of Biomedical Engineering was displayed in the poster presentation of the forum, and won the award of Honorable Mention, which fully showed the good discipline quality, research potential and innovation ability of our students.
