The construction ofthe new affiliatedhospitaland Haidong campus is abig event for the future development of GDMU, to which theretiredveteran cadres attach great importance.

Recently, a delegationcomposedofretiredveteran cadres, includingthe former leaders of the university, such asLiang Nianci, Huang Zhisheng and Yan Dasheng,made a tour to Potou, Zhanjiang, andvisitedthe building sites of the above mentioned projects.

On the construction sites ofthe new affiliatedhospital, theretiredveteran cadres listened carefullyto theoverallplanning, constructionprogressanditsprospect introduced by the relevant personnel, and they express the hope that all the staff would make persistent efforts with the spirit ofHardWork andUnyielding Endeavors of Guangdong Medical University to complete the construction.

On the construction site of Haidong Campus, the veteran cadres looked at the overallrenderings of thenewcampuscarefully andcomprehended the design concept and construction plan explained by the construction manager. Yan Dasheng, formerVice President ofGDMU, elaborated the design scheme to the wholedelegation and everyone listened attentively,filled with expectation and hope for thegreatprospect of the university.
